Who is this guy? My name is Morten Kristensen and live in Denmark. I am a student at Aarhus University where I study Computer Science aiming for a Master degree in the coming years. Concerning a subject that interests me, I take great pleasure in writing algorithms to solve problems which I then programmatically implement - testing the correctness of the algorithm. In my field what interests me the most is cryptography, networking and the study of the design of programming languages. The languages I like the most would be functional programming languages like Scheme, SML, Erlang, etc. but I also program a lot in languages like C++ and Java. Oh, and I should not forget to mention Python as well.
When I’m not doing assignments, preparing for theoretical exercises or working - I am referring to sparetime of course - I like to read fantasy novels (mostly by writers such as R. A. Salvatore, Frank Herbert, Dan Abnett, Nathan Long, and Trudi Canavan); reading scientific literature; reading about Japanese culture, philosophy, and martial arts; being with friends; listening to metal and attending festivals.
As a physical activity I train Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu twice a week and I absolutely love it. It is a Japanese martial art and we train both armed and unarmed techniques of fighting. Recently, I was elected the new chairman of the board of our association.
